Take the time to hire carefully.

41% of company respondents included in a recent study revealed that a bad hiring decision cost their team dearly. It can be costly for a real estate team to rectify the problems created by the bad hire.

Simply put, it is difficult to build a productive real estate team by including members that are a bad fit. A poor employee ruins the team environment, and ultimately costs other team members. Avoid this costly mistake by taking the time to hire the right candidate the first time.

If you’re considering joining a team, look for these qualities:

A successful team must have a team leader that actively engages in the work of the team.

The team should have a well-respected and positive brand in the community.

Observe the team’s culture to determine how you’ll fit it.
